Logan (BOS) sits minutes from downtown, unusually close for a major US airport. The compact core means most of a day happens on foot.
When to go
Fall is spectacular here, with New England foliage close by. Spring and early summer are lovely; winters are cold but the walkable, indoor-rich core keeps a program moving.
