Getting there
Three airports — Reagan National (DCA), Dulles (IAD) and BWI — serve the capital, with National minutes from downtown. The core is walkable and transit-rich.
When to go
Spring, especially the cherry-blossom weeks, and fall are the standout seasons. Summer is warm and busy; winter is quiet and well-suited to the indoor museums.

Is DC expensive for a team day?
Less than you might expect. Much of the city’s best — the monuments and the Smithsonian museums — is free to enter, which makes for a genuinely rich, low-cost heritage day.
